Thanks to Parkl, you can now charge your electric vehicle at every parking level of Bank Center

Bank Center was designed by internationally renowned Hungarian architect Dr. József Finta and built under the development of the Canadian Olympia & York. The building offers a total of 32,000 square meters of premium office space in its four 10-story towers, located in the heart of Budapest's most influential business districts.

The office complex provides modern, comfortable office environments for nearly 50 companies and their employees. The building is also equipped with a 450-space underground parking garage, which is frequently used not only by employees and their guests but also by drivers visiting the area.

As a result, Bank Center has become more than just a premium office building – it is now the heart of the mobility ecosystem in downtown Budapest. It is a modern service hub that actively supports sustainable and efficient urban mobility. Thanks to its central location, it is easily accessible by public transport, bicycle, and, through Parkl's solutions, offers convenient parking and electric vehicle charging options for visitors. In 2019, the building’s property manager first approached Parkl as the number of electric vehicles in the office building was increasing, and they wanted to provide charging stations for them. To meet the initial demand, four Type 2 charging points were installed. Given the growing corporate demand for charging, this has since been expanded to more than triple the number of charging points in the building's 5-level underground garage, making predictable electric vehicle charging available on every level, with premium charging equipment from Schneider Electric.

However, the building owner did not stop with the charging infrastructure. Thanks to the success of this initiative, the property manager decided to introduce the Parkl Office service starting in April 2021. This digital service takes the management of office building parking to a new level: it enhances parking processes, increases parking space utilization, while also improving employee satisfaction and boosting the building's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance.

Parkl's software solution, among other features, enables license plate-based automatic entry and exit, providing a quick and seamless parking experience for those arriving at the building. The service also supports optimal parking management. From allocating dedicated spaces, managing guest parking and access rights, to handling charging transactions, everything operates through Parkl’s system.
