How did Henkel Hungary transition to Parkl's comprehensive office mobility services?



ABOUT THE COMPANY


Henkel Hungary has been present in the domestic market since 1987, operating in three business areas (Adhesive Technologies, Beauty Care, Laundry & Home Care) with its brands. The growth of the company’s workforce and its commitment to sustainability made it necessary to relocate their previous headquarters this year. They chose the Millennium Gardens office building, developed by TriGranit, due to its prime location and modern design, which fully met their requirements.

THE PROBLEM EFFICIENT OFFICE MOBILITY SOLVES


The Henkel Hungary team consists not only of central office employees but also numerous sales staff who frequently visit external locations in addition to the office building. Therefore, if personalized parking spaces were provided for everyone in the headquarters, many of them would remain vacant.


Another factor against dedicated parking spaces was that, similar to many Hungarian companies after the Covid period, Henkel also transitioned to hybrid working. The number of employees who previously spent their entire working hours in the office has decreased, as their attendance varies by day.


Furthermore, the company’s commitment to sustainability raised the need to provide charging facilities for electric vehicles, encouraging employees to use electric cars.


THE SOLUTION

Ekkor kapcsolódott be a projektbe a Parkl és került bemutatásra a szolgáltatás a Henkel csapatának.

THE RESULT


For Henkel employees, a single app now provides solutions for various parking situations:

  • Upon arriving at the headquarters, they can pre-book parking spaces and access the parking area automatically without an access card.

  • If they arrive with an electric vehicle, they can charge it using Parkl’s chargers in the parking lot.

  • If they need to park on public streets at external locations, they can start street parking with two clicks using Parkl, charged to the company account without needing to register a company card in their own app.

  • If they’re in a hurry and cannot find a parking space, they can easily park with their mobile phone in over 75 Parkl partner parking lots, also charged to the company account.


In addition, Parkl Office’s functions like guest parking and the handling of key vehicles are used daily.


"The administrative interface is completely transparent and easy to manage. From overview to sending out new invites, everything goes smoothly. The situation is similar with the app interface, and we have received entirely positive feedback from our colleagues during the introduction of the new system,” said Tamás.
