The Impact of Introducing Parkl Office at the CIB Bank Headquarters

CIB Bank is a Hungarian commercial bank with a 40-year history and more than 420,000 clients, including both businesses and private individuals. The company has always been committed to innovative, digital solutions—an approach they aim to apply not only in their services but also within their own office buildings.

THE CHALLENGE

CIB Bank’s headquarters currently operate across two office buildings, located on Petrezselyem Street and Medve Street. As the two sites will be merged into a single office in the near future, the parking system at the Petrezselyem Street headquarters needed to be redesigned.

Previously, employees had access to 400 parking spaces across both locations. Due to the relocation, this number was reduced by half, meaning significantly fewer parking spots would remain available for staff and company vehicles. From a facility management perspective, this was a major challenge, especially because every employee had previously been assigned their own dedicated parking space. The bank needed a modern, user-friendly solution to replace the old system.

THE SOLUTION

It soon became clear that the key was to maximise parking space utilisation. After defining their requirements, the bank conducted a thorough market assessment to identify the most effective provider. During this process, they came across a video in which András Horváth introduces the Parkl Office solution—this clarified that the system matched their needs.

Since CIB Bank places high value on mobile-app-based services, they wanted a solution that:

• allows employees to book parking spaces via a mobile application,

• includes an admin dashboard for managing access rights and monitoring usage,

• generates easy-to-read utilisation reports.

THE RESULT

The Parkl Office system was introduced at the Petrezselyem Street headquarters in late October 2021. Employees can now book their parking spaces in advance every week, and even make same-day reservations when unexpected office visits occur or if they forget to book ahead.

Thanks to the new system:

• CIB Bank can continue offering parking to employees despite the total number of spaces being halved,

• external partners arriving for meetings can also be provided with parking via the guest parking feature,

• the Parkl Screen digital display installed at the entrance helps both employees and visitors navigate the car park more easily.
