Strategic Agreement between CPI and Parkl Brings Office Building Parking to a New Dimension

The office of the future must become increasingly flexible to meet the constantly changing needs of tenants. An office is no longer just a space, but a service package that can keep pace with modern, digital work trends through smart solutions. The collaboration between CPI Hungary and Parkl marks an innovation in the sector, offering a uniquely flexible and sustainable solution for tenant companies and their employees. As part of the strategic partnership, CPI Hungary's entire domestic office portfolio – 21 office buildings – will have their parking management and electric vehicle charging services renewed in a single, user-friendly system.

Hybrid working is here to stay, becoming embedded in the DNA of domestic companies. Attracting employees back to the office means a challenge for companies everywhere, requiring comprehensive solutions from all parties. Both collaboration and focused work need to be facilitated, dynamically managing and monitoring user habits and needs.

Thus, the future office will no longer be tied to a single location. Operators must enable tenant companies to flexibly utilise different locations. For example, a company may use communal spaces or hold conferences in one office building, while its headquarter is in another location. This agile corporate operation requires flexible, advanced digital services from office building owners.

It is no coincidence that CPI in Hungary already offers numerous innovative solutions to tenants, such as the green lease agreement, the Human Innovation Programme, or the myhive office brand. These services not only build a community among the tenants of the real estate giant's buildings but also promote dynamic management and sharing of office spaces. Naturally, this also necessitates flexible mobility solutions, ensuring seamless movement between buildings and the utilisation of parking and charging services.

Therefore, it is increasingly important for employees to know in advance whether they will have a parking space at a given building and if they will be able to charge their electric cars. With the Parkl system, which operates over 10,000 parking spaces in more than 40 office buildings and around 700 charging points nationwide, booking parking and charging positions within the CPI office portfolio becomes easily accessible on a user-friendly interface.

Moreover, in addition to enhancing parking convenience, collecting data related to employees' commuting habits offers significant development and optimisation opportunities. For instance, based on entry data, office occupancy and utilisation can be estimated for specific days, which not only increases energy efficiency but also allows for more economically efficient office leasing and rental.

CPI is committed to sustainable operations, and Parkl is a key proptech partner in achieving this. Through Parkl Office, the optimal utilisation of underground garages and parking spaces, as well as the reliable charging of electric vehicles, has become simpler than ever. This not only improves employee satisfaction with their working environment but also helps tenant companies achieve their sustainability goals more easily.
