Alongside the track, which debuted last summer, we have helped to meet the energy needs of the staff and the electric racing cars by installing three 150 kW electric car chargers.
Balaton Park Circuit's 4.115 km long racetrack is located next to the M7 highway, 87 km from Budapest.
„I designed the circuit with three aspects in mind: safety, challenge for the drivers and sustainability.” - said the designer, Ferenc Gulácsi.
The newest FIA-compliant circuit for motorsport is not only modern and innovative, but it also aimed to provide a safe environment for both drivers and fans.
Giancarlo Fisichella, Ferrari's ambassador, has already experienced the thrills of the track and praised the design of the Balaton Park Circuit. The curves, speed sections and passing opportunities he mentioned all demonstrate that the track has been designed with the needs of drivers and the fans in mind.
As a major player in the e-mobility industry, Parkl was happy to be a partner in the unusual project. A total of 6 charging points, each with a charging capacity of 150 kW, have been installed in the car park of the race track, which will provide extra fast charging for the race cars. The new charging stations, each weighing half a tonne, allow two electric cars to be charged simultaneously from 0 to 80% in just 15-20 minutes.
